Sissil Lea Heggernes

Sissil Lea Heggernes is Associate Professor of English Subject Pedagogy at Oslo Metropolitan University. She has published widely on topics related to picturebooks, intercultural learning, critical thinking, visual analysis, dialogic learning, and language teachers’ professional development. Her research interests also include children’s literature and reading. She is co-editor of two edited volumes and a founding board member of the Association for Research on Children’s Literature in English in Norway.
