Friederike Merkelbach
Friederike Merkelbach is an associate professor in music pedagogy who is currently working as head of teacher studies for grades 1–7 at the University of Inland Norway. Having worked as a teacher for over 20 years, she lately has published articles and reports within musicology and school-development. Her doctoral dissertation investigates the effect of social media on child pop stars’ careers and talent discourses and develops the concept of cyborg talentification.
