Tone Finnanger (1973–) designs all of the Tilda products herself: the books and other printed works, plywood figures, stamps and stencils, paint and metal works. She is schooled in drawing, design, graphic design and traditional painting handwork techniques. She worked as an interior decorator and window dresser until she started the Tilda company in 1999.
