We are very fortunate in Norway in still having access to high quality fresh food which we harvest from teh sea, the forests and the plains. In this book we show that Norway has a long tradition in good food, with the best dishes from town and country having been passed down through many generations. We also show that Norwegian food has been influenced by traditions from other countries and cultures, modified to suit our own tastes.
In addition, the book provides an introduction to certain Norwegian eating patterns and Christmas traditions. It gives an exciting look into an important cultural inheritance: The Norwegian Kitchen.
