Susann Longva Vaeth

Susann Longva Vaeth (f. 1989) is a History Ph.D. Candidate at Brandeis University in Boston. She specializes in the history of education, with a concentration on WWII and Holocaust education. Her dissertation compares WWII and Holocaust education for elementary and secondary schools in France, Denmark, and Norway. Her research focuses on the post-WWII period and the role of education and history textbooks in prescribing national values. She is particularly interested in how governments, organizations, and individuals shaped history lessons.
