Knut Michael Nygaard

Knut M. Nygaard, PhD, has broad national and international research and management experience. His main research interests are within maritime economic history, and his Diploma thesis in economics, MA thesis in history, and PhD thesis are all within this field. From 2018-2022, Nygaard was employed at the University of South-Eastern Norway, working on the international research project ‘The Last Ice Age’. He is currently a senior research advisor at Oslo Metropolitan University.
