Gjert Lage Dyndal, a major-general in the Royal Norwegian Air Force, is Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Norwegian Joint Headquarters and the Norwegian Joint Task Force. In addition to being an active duty officer, Dyndal holds a PhD in modern history and is a part-time adjunct researcher with professor competence at the Department of Engeneering Cybernetics, Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Tale Sundlisaeter holds a PhD in international relations with a specialty in space power and national security strategy from the University of St Andrews. She has a broad background in security and cross-sector leadership experience.
