Lars Mæhle (f. 1971) har skrevet en rekke bøker for barn, både skjønnlitteratur og sakprosa, og er veldig glad i sjokoladepudding. Hans foreløpig siste utgivelse er en ny serie for barn mellom 8-12 år, der Krimteam Siri & Max er de store heltene. Den første boken i serien har fått tittelen Tåkefyrstens hevn.
