What is opposition? When do you show opposition? What are you opposed against? Who do you oppose? Who is opposed to you? Nine of Norway's top writers of young peoples' literature were given the word ‘opposition', and this anthology is the result. Aron makes off with a cardboard box of kittens. Boye finds a can of spraypaint and does something he shouldn't. Erling feels like he's playing a game he doesn't know the rules to. Emma won't accept an apology from her headteacher. So that he'll see her. ”He” stands there – not able to do anything else... Someone wants to fight, but ”I” don't want to any longer. ”I” want something else entirely.

Taran Lysne Bjørnstad er født i 1966 og oppvokst i Bærum. Hun har studert medievitenskap i London og Oslo, og Cand. polit ved UIO. Hun har arbeidet som medieanalytiker og forsker, med spesiell fokus på barn og ungdom. Hun er mor til tre gutter og har gitt ut flere bøker, bl.a. Nettsvermere (Statens Filmtilsyn, 2002), om ungdom og nettbruk, ungdomsromanen DBY, som hun fikk Riksmålsprisen for i 2009, crossoverromanen Picassokvinnenog høytlesningsbokaKrokodilletyven(ill. Christoffer Grav).
"Novellene har jevnt over en fin stigning, man drives fremover for å se hvordan det går. Tekstene er såpass korte at de egner seg som utgangspunkt for samtale, både ut fra innhold og form. Her er det nok av eksempler på antydningens kunst, det å avdekke en handling gradvis, de små vendepunkt som gir handlingen en uventet retning. [...] felles for dem alle [forfatterne] er at de kan være med på å gi ungdom lese glede og innsikt i det store mysterium mennesket – ikke minst det unge mennesket."
